Welcome! I am a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Columbia-Harvard China and the World Program at Columbia University and a Research Fellow with the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for the Study of Contemporary China. I received my PhD in Political Science from MIT in 2023. Starting fall 2024, I will be an Assistant Professor of International Political Economy at the London School of Economics.

My book project studies foreign technology transfer policies in post-Cold War China. Broadly, I am interested in how technology and global value chains shape international political economy and security, with a focus on the rise of China.

Before MIT, I worked in political risk analysis. I graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University, where I was a member of the Telluride House, and earned an M.A. in international relations from the University of Chicago. I also studied at Sichuan and Fudan Universities. I was born and raised in Austin, TX.
